Who We Are
The Encounter Worship Center is a prophetic and bible expository church based in North Houston, Texas. It is a church that throbs with a passion to raise sound and strong Christians who live the Word of God and work the works of God.
"The Encounter Worship Center, was incorporated under the laws of United States of America in the year 2022. As an organization we are governed by a board of trustees, council members, a strong pastoral team and headed by the Senior Pastor" – Dr. F. F. Garr Sr.
With a strong prophetic mantle, The Encounter Worship Center believes in the ability of the power of God to liberate people from centuries-old curses and strongholds that manifest in spiritual marriages, recurring sicknesses, stagnation, setbacks in life, unaccomplished dreams etc.
We also, advocate the believer’s responsibility of walking and living righteous and holy lives in order to maintain God’s deliverance.
With an equally strong bible expository mantle; The Encounter Worship Center believes in building Christians who are sound in biblical doctrine, prayer and strong in faith. We believe in raising vessels that are fully equipped to work the works of God in this end time.
Faith
Faith is the cornerstone of our church. It is part of every activity that we do, every meeting that we hold. We believe in our Lord, and that our actions are a reflection of his goodness.
Scripture
We look to the Lord for guidance in our lives. In Scripture, we find all that we need to guide us in the right path. Reading and understand Scripture helps us all live meaningful lives.
